DAY 1 INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT


DAY 2 BEIJING


Welcome to China, one of the most fascinating countries in the world. Today you will begin your
adventure in Tian'anmen Square, the largest square in the world, covering an area of 440,000
square meters. Tour the Forbidden City, also named the Palace Museum where 24 emperors
ascended the throne and ruled this nation.
Later enjoy your first taste of Chinese cuisine.

DAY 3 BEIJING

This morning explore the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved imperial garden in
China. Built in 1750 and once the summer resort for the emperors. Visit the Pearl Factory and
later have a photo opportunity at the Bird Nest and Cube. Both exciting venues from the Summer
2008 Olympic Games. This will be the evening to indulge in the famous Peking Dinner - a must
for all visitors!

DAY 4 BEIJING

Today be ready to discover one of the greatest wonders of the world. Just like a gigantic dragon,
the Great Wall winds up and down stretching approximately 8,852 kilometers across China. On
the way visit the Jade Factory, Changling Tomb and the Sacred Way

DAY 5 BEIJING - XIAN

Your tour continues with a flight to Xian, one of the oldest cities in Chinese history. Tour of the Big
Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China, built in 618.

DAY 6 XIAN

Your first stop today will feature what is praised as “the eighth miracle of the world”: the Museum
of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Dating from 210 BC, current estimates are that in the
three pits containing the Terracotta Army there were over 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520
horses and 150 cavalry horses. After visit the Huaqing Hot Spring, with its 3,000 year history and
one of China's Hundred Famous Gardens.

DAY 7 XIAN - GUILIN

Travel today to Guilin, regarded in China as the countries most picturesque landscapes under
heaven. Guilin has been inspiring artists and poets for centuries with it's unique landforms, rivers
and valleys. Enjoy your tour of this beautiful city.

DAY 8 GUILIN

Begin your day by exploring the legendary Reed Flute Caves with a guided tour of the
spectacular underground scenery. See how the cave got its name by the reeds and discover a
world of stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations.

DAY 9 GUILIN

Enjoy the Li River for an amazing cruise with steep hills and cliffs, caves, farming villages, rice
fields and bamboo. Later visit the Yangshuo Market and tour a small Chinese village.

DAY 10 GUILIN - SHANGHAI

Transfer today to Shanghai, the Pearl of the Orient with it's unique blend of Eastern and Western
cultures. Your full day will include guided tours of the Bund district, a famous waterfront area,
Nanjing Road and the Yuyuan Garden, a classic Chinese Garden as well as the Shanghai
Museum. In the evening enjoy an acrobatic performance.

DAY 11 SHANGHAI

What better way to experience the true Chinese cuisine and culture than to learn the art of
Chinese cooking? Learn the proper use of Chinese cookware, chopsticks and table manners.
You will purchase meats and vegetables at a local market, learn the proper ways of food
preparation and then enjoy your feast with your new friends. End you journey of China in the
village of Zhouzhuang, one of the most famous water ships in China and China's version of Italy's
Venice. Zhouzhuang is surrounded and divided by lakes and rivers, with 14 stone bridges
crossing the rivers and showing distinctive views of the water-town. You may also notice a
portion of the movie “Mission Impossible III” which was filmed in this village.

DAY 12 INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT HOME
